When I moved to Baltimore, all I heard about was how great Dizzy Izzie's was and how great the food and burgers were. So I went. I tried the burgers. I tried the sandwiches. I tried a variety of things on the menu. And none of them had any taste. It was just tasteless food. The food all looked really good, but I might as well have been eating shoe leather. So I don't get all the hype about this place. The atmosphere is great. Very neighborhoody, corner bar style that isn't dirty or sticky. But the food is just so-so, at best.
Your mileage may vary.... I had friends that loved this place so, they had their wedding reception upstairs.... Me? not so much.

Dizzy's, now a.k.a. as "The Dizz" not only provides the best food at the best prices, but it allows tourists and fans alike the opportunity to peer at Charm City Cakes. For neighborhood residents, it's the best food and nicest staff in walking distance.
